Cancellation policy
To confirm your reservation, payment must be completed within 3 days after making the booking.
Free cancellation is possible within 4 hours after making the reservation.
If you cancel more than 60 days before arrival, 100% of the payment will be refunded.
If you cancel between 30 and 59 days before arrival, 50% of the payment will be refunded.
Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival are non-refundable.

Minimum Stay
Summer season: minimum stay of 1 week
Winter season: minimum stay of 3 nights
House rules
Check-In
Check-in is possible between 15:00 and 23:00.
Please let us know in advance what time you expect to arrive.
Check-Out
Check-out is between 05:00 and 10:00.
Children and Beds
Children of all ages are welcome. A baby cot is available upon reqeust.
Children aged 3 years and older are considered adults for booking purposes.
House Rules
Fire Safety
Wildfires are a real risk in this region.
For safety reasons, naked flames, outdoor fires and smoking inside the apartments are not allowed.
Lighting outdoor fires is strictly forbidden during the hot summer months. Please only use the designated BBQ area.
Portuguese law also prohibits burning or using open flames such as bonfires, fireworks, candles or lanterns during the summer months (June – September).
Please do not leave glass objects outside, as sunlight reflections can start fires in dry conditions.

Smoking
The apartments are non-smoking.
Ashtrays are provided for guests who wish to smoke outside.
Quiet Hours
Casa Branca is located in a peaceful mountain valley where sound carries easily.
We kindly ask guests to respect the peace of the surroundings and other guests by keeping noise to a minimum between 23:00 and 07:00.
Pets
Dogs are welcome upon request and must always be handled responsibly.
Please do not leave pets alone in the apartment.
When other guests are present, dogs must be kept on a leash unless all guests agree otherwise.
Please prevent excessive barking and dispose of dog waste in the green waste bins in the street outside the house.
Shared Areas
The garden, swimming pool and sauna are shared facilities for all guests staying at Casa Branca.
Please respect the privacy and comfort of other guests when using these areas.
Septic System
The house uses a septic tank system.
Please do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper. Items such as sanitary products, cotton buds, wipes, nappies and similar items may damage the system.
Pool Use
For safety reasons, diving is not allowed in the swimming pool.
Please do not allow pets to swim in the pool.
When Leaving the Property
Please ensure that all doors and windows are closed and locked when leaving the property.
Casa Branca cannot be held responsible for the loss of personal belongings.
During the colder months, if you are using radiators or air conditioning in heating mode, please switch them off when leaving the apartment to conserve energy.
However, please leave one radiator on a low setting so that the heating system can continue to circulate properly.
